We are pleased to present to you the second issue of the fifth volume of the Journal. In this issue, we bring a distinguished collection of research and articles that shed light on various environmental issues that concern our community. Our aim through this journal is to enhance environmental awareness and disseminate scientific knowledge that contributes to protecting our environment and improving the quality of our lives.

In this issue, we will cover diverse topics addressing the latest innovations in environmental sciences, the importance of environmental sustainability, and the role of the community in preserving natural resources. We will also take a look at the environmental challenges facing Libya and the Arab region, and the efforts being made to overcome them through international and local cooperation.
